Yankee warrants to original equipment manufacturers, distributors, industrial and commercial users of its products that each new product which it manufactures or supplies is free from defects in material and craftsmanship. Yankee’s sole obligation under this warranty is limited to furnishing, without additional charge, a replacement for, or at its option, repairing or issuing credit for such product which shall, within 30 days from date of sale by Yankee, be returned freight prepaid to the plant and which, upon inspection, is determined by Yankee to be defective in materials or workmanship. The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any product which has been subjected to misuse, improper operating conditions, machine setup or which has been repaired or altered, other than at Yankee.
Returned goods, for any reason, will only be accepted with prior authorization given by Yankee. A Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number assigned by Yankee must be clearly marked on the shipment in order to obtain credit. Orders returned due to customer error are subject to a 15% restocking charge. Credit will not be given on altered tools. Claims for shipping discrepancies or non-receipt must be made within 30 days.
Even though all products manufactured by The Yankee Corporation are designed for safe operation under normal use, cutting tools may break and/or shatter. We stress the importance of safety in your tool usage. 1. Always use safety glasses/goggles when performing any reaming operation. 2. Never exceed recommended speeds or feeds for your application.
